It took longer than I originally anticipated, but the books are in and the store is open!
Gill is now available for the first time in print in this limited edition comic book!
Issue #1: “I’m not Retarded, I’m Big-Boned!” is a collection of the first 107 Gill strips. It begins with the first Gill strip I ever drew and ends with the conclusion of the “Cheesy Chester’s” story line. This is a limited run of 1000. All will be signed and numbered!
Domestic shipping and handling is $2.00. International shipping is $5.00. You can order up to 2 copies without paying additional shipping. More than 2 and the rates increase.
Supplies are limited, so click on that store tab in the menu bar and order yours today!

I’ll be out of town next week, so Monday through Thursday I’ll be featuring four never before seen “lost” Gill episodes in lieu of the regular story. Included will be a little blurb beneath each strip explaining why I never ran them on the site. I hope you enjoy them.
3-day-a-week Gill will resume on Monday 6/29
Hey all,
Sorry, but no strip today. I’m working on a side project that is zapping a lot of my time. In fact, the project means that Gill will temporarily be posted on a three-day-a-week schedule (Mon,Wed,Fri) starting next week.
I wish I could give you more details about what I’m working on, but I think I’ll play this hand close to my chest. If it pans out, I’ll shout about it from the mountain tops, don’t worry.
Thanks to everyone for their continued readership and support. There will be slightly less Gill in the weeks to come, but it will still be updated regularly, so no worries.

My friend Scott Nickel who produces the very funny Eek! comic strip for GoComics just interviewed me for a new twice-weekly segment on his blog (A Nickel’s Worth) called 20 Questions.
It was a lot of fun, and I really like the “cartoonist interviewing cartoonist” aspect of it.
My favorite question was number 9. Who would win in a cage match, Garfield or Heathcliff? To read my profound answer to this very important question, visit Scott’s blog at www.scottnickel.blogspot.com!
Fellow TTFer, Brock Heasley, who produces the epic comic The Super Fogeys sent me this crazy good sketch of Gill! I love his interpretation. Brock is an amazing artist. Thanks, Brock!

For those of you wondering about the books, they still haven’t come in yet. I will be sure to post and open the store the moment they do.

Hey folks, there will be a stunted week of strips this week because (as of Thursday afternoon) I’m off to Hollywood for the National Cartoonists Society’s 63rd annual Reuben Awards. It’s my first time attending and is sure to be a lot of fun. I haven’t been on a real vacation in close to 10 years, so I’m very much looking forward to the time off.
Also, next week’s strips will be reruns because I’ll need the time to build a store for the website, and play catch up after returning from California. New Gill strips will return on Monday, June 1st.
If I have a chance, I might do some blogging over the weekend to share pictures and happenings over on my regular website at www.normfeuti.com, so pop over and check it out if you’re interested.
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, everyone!

I just got in the first batch of books I rush ordered for the MECAF and they look awesome! Very cool to see Gill in book form.
As I said, I’ll only have about 20 on hand for the con in Maine. I expect the next batch of books in a few weeks, at which point I’ll set up the store and they’ll be available for purchase online. Again, this is a limited run of 1000. The first 100 sold will be signed. All will be numbered.

I will be attending the Maine Comics Arts Festival at Ocean Gateway in Portland this coming Sunday, May 17th.
Over 70 comic writers and artists will be guests for this one-day event which runs from 10am-5pm. Admission is only $5.00. Kids 12 and under get in free.
I’ll be sharing a table with Corey Pandolph (The Elderberries, Barkeater Lake, Toby Robot Satan) and Lincoln Pierce (Big Nate), as well as participating in a panel discussion with both of them at 1:00 called “Surviving as a Print Cartoonist”. I’m pretty sure Lincoln is surviving the best out of the three of us.
For more information about the event, visit the Maine Comics Arts Festival website, or the MECAF blog for a detailed list of guests, and discussions.
Hope to see some of you there!
Just a quick note that I finally got around to moving my blog from Blogger to Wordpress. The address hasn’t changed, so you can see the new digs at www.normfeuti.com.
